The Criminal Justice Institute's (CJI) Cybersecurity Defense Initiative, established in 2004, is a national cybersecurity training program developed for technical personnel and managers who monitor and protect our nation’s critical cyber infrastructures.
As a NCPC partner, CJI offers courses across the United States that prepare technical personnel to prevent or greatly reduce the risk for a cyber-breach of computer networks or other critical information systems, and to effectively respond to or recover from a cyber-based attack. Courses are typically four (4) days in length, and utilize a blended learning approach that incorporates instructor-led classroom lecture with hands-on computer lab exercises that are designed to enhance the learning experience.
