TEEX/NERRTC provides tailored, specialized training in the areas of cybersecurity, crisis communications, disaster management for executives and elected officials, hazardous materials, health and medical services, incident management, infrastructure protection, search and rescue, threat and risk assessment, and training gap analysis. This training enhances the capacity of emergency responders to prevent, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate against incidents of national significance, including all-hazards events and terrorism.
Through the NCPC, TEEX/NERRTC delivers cybersecurity training both online and in the classroom. The online training is designed for individuals to increase awareness as general users, IT technical users or business management users. The classroom training for responders focuses on integrating cybersecurity into a community's Emergency Operations Center or exercise planning.
